2026 Belingo World Summer School Policy
Welcome to Belingo World Summer School.
We are delighted to welcome students to a warm, inspiring, and carefully designed learning experience where they can explore new ideas, build confidence, and connect with friends from different backgrounds.
To ensure every child enjoys a safe, smooth, and well-organised programme, we kindly ask all parents/guardians to read and understand the following policy before enrolment.
By registering for the programme, parents/guardians agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Mandatory Travel Insurance
For the safety and peace of mind of every family, all international students travelling to Thailand for the Summer School Programme must hold valid travel insurance covering the full period of their attendance.
The insurance should include, where applicable:

Medical treatment

Accidental injury
-
Emergency medical support
-
Travel-related incidents
Parents/guardians must provide one of the following before the programme begins:

Proof of insurance purchase; or
-
A valid insurance certificate
Belingo World reserves the right to refuse participation if the required insurance documentation is not provided before the student joins the programme.
2. Enrolment & Payment
2.1 Confirmation of Place
A student’s place in the Summer School Programme is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
As we maintain small class sizes to ensure quality learning and personal attention, places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
2.2 Payment Methods & Surcharges

Any applicable bank charges, transfer fees, or payment processing fees are the responsibility of the payer.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
3.1 General Policy
All Summer School fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.
3.2 Emergency Exceptions
Refund requests will only be considered in genuine emergency situations, such as a medical emergency that prevents the student from attending the programme.
A valid medical certificate or official supporting document must be provided for review.
Any refund approval remains at the sole discretion of Belingo World. Approved refunds may be subject to administrative fees, bank charges, or payment processing fees.
3.3 Missed Sessions
No refund, credit, make-up class, or replacement session will be provided for:

Absence
-
Late arrival, Early departure
-
Travel changes
-
Personal scheduling conflicts
-
Change of mind after enrolment
4. Health, Safety & Medical Information
Parents/guardians must inform Belingo World in writing of any important information relating to the student’s health, well-being, or learning needs, including:

Medical conditions or Medication requirements
-
Allergies or dietary restrictions
-
Behavioural or learning support needs
-
Any other information that may affect the student’s participation
In the event of illness, injury, or emergency, Belingo World may seek appropriate medical assistance if parents/guardians cannot be reached immediately. Any medical, hospital, transportation, or related expenses will remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
5. Student Conduct
We aim to create a kind, respectful, and positive environment for all students.
Students are expected to:

Respect teachers, staff, and fellow students

Follow safety instructions at all times
-
Take good care of learning materials, equipment, and facilities
-
Participate in activities with a positive attitude
-
Show kindness and consideration towards others
Belingo World reserves the right to remove or suspend a student from the programme if their behaviour:
-
Poses a risk to themselves or others
-
Seriously disrupts the learning environment
-
Involves bullying, violence, harassment, or inappropriate conduct
-
Repeatedly ignores staff instructions
No refund will be provided in such cases.
6. Activities, Excursions & Physical Participation
The Summer School Programme may include a variety of engaging learning experiences, such as:

Science experiment activities
-
Outdoor games or physical activities
-
Field trips or excursions
Parents/guardians understand that some activities may involve physical movement, outdoor participation, travel, or hands-on exploration, and may carry certain inherent risks. Students must follow all safety instructions given by Belingo World staff, teachers, activity leaders, and partner providers.
7. Liability Waiver & Release
By enrolling a student in the Summer School Programme, parents/guardians acknowledge and agree that participation is voluntary and may involve certain risks associated with learning activities, physical movement, travel, excursions, outdoor play, and hands-on experiences.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Belingo World, its directors, employees, teachers, partners, representatives, and service providers shall not be held responsible for:

Personal injury or accidental injury

Illness
-
Loss or damage to personal belongings
-
Delays, cancellations, or disruptions beyond reasonable control
-
Incidents involving third-party venues, transportation, or activity providers
-
Any loss, cost, or expense arising from a student’s failure to follow instructions
Parents/guardians agree to release and hold harmless Belingo World from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation in the programme, except where caused by proven gross negligence or unlawful misconduct.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for:

Medical or hospital expenses

Emergency transportation costs
-
Damage caused by the student to property, equipment, or facilities
-
Costs arising from student misconduct or failure to follow safety instructions
8. Personal Belongings
Students are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Belingo World will take reasonable care to remind students to look after their items, but cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
We kindly recommend that students not bring unnecessary valuables to the programme.
9. Photography & Media Consent
Belingo World may take photos or videos during programme activities for educational, communication, promotional, or marketing purposes, including:

Parent updates
-
Social media & Website content
-
Printed materials
-
Programme highlights
If parents/guardians do not wish for their child to appear in photos or videos, written notice must be provided before the programme begins.
10. Programme Changes
Belingo World will always aim to deliver the programme as planned. However, we reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to ensure safety, quality, and smooth operation.
This may include changes to: Schedules, Activities, Teachers, Venues, Excursion arrangements, Class groupings.
Changes may be made due to weather, safety reasons, minimum enrolment requirements, operational needs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Parent/Guardian Responsibility
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that:

All enrolment information is accurate and complete

Emergency contact details are up to date
-
The student arrives on time and is collected on time
-
The student is suitably dressed for daily activities
-
Required documents, including insurance proof, are submitted before participation
-
Any health, behavioural, or learning needs are shared with Belingo World in advance
12. Parent/Guardian Agreement & Confirmation
I, the undersigned parent/guardian, confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Belingo World Summer School Policy.
I acknowledge and confirm that:

I agree to provide valid travel insurance proof or an insurance certificate before my child joins the programme.

I understand that full payment is required to secure my child’s place in the programme.

I understand that all programme fees are non-refundable, except in approved emergency cases with valid medical certification or official supporting documents.

I have provided accurate and complete information regarding my child’s health, medical needs, allergies, dietary requirements, emergency contacts, and any other relevant information.

I understand and accept the nature of the programme, including classroom learning, physical activities, outdoor activities, excursions, and hands-on learning experiences.

I agree to the liability waiver and release terms stated in this policy.

I understand that Belingo World will take reasonable care to support student safety and wellbeing, while parents/guardians remain responsible for medical expenses, personal belongings, and any costs arising from the student’s misconduct or failure to follow instructions.
